The schedule has been revised.  Please update your calendar:

Oct 2: Psalm 23 (Praying Our Fear) — Mary

Oct 9: no meeting

Oct 16: Psalm 137 (Praying Our Hate) — Jim

Oct 23: no meeting

Oct 30: Psalm 125 (A Song of Ascents) — Rev. Charlie, recently returned from an extended visit to Jerusalem and Galilee, will offer this psalm as a focal point for what he will share with us about the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and other highlights of his trip.)

Spirituality and Aging

Please join us and explore spirituality and aging with Dorothy Linthicum. All are welcome, whether you are journeying with a loved one or are an older adult yourself. We will explore what spirituality might be like for older adults and how spiritual practice in everyday life can enrich and deepen the aging process, including the process of death and dying. How can spiritual practices guide us and our loved ones to tap into the ultimate meaning in our lives?

Registration fee/suggested donation: $25. Please don’t let finances keep you from attending.

Christmas Bazaar News

“Adopt-a-Basket”

The Christmas Bazaar (Saturday, November 4th) is almost around the corner, and we need YOU! The Silent Auction Team is asking that you create and donate a basket. These baskets make marvelous Christmas and hostess gifts. You could team up with a friend for more creativity and fun!

We are delighted to announce that all of the suggested themes for the baskets have been adopted and a Christmas Ornament basket has also been donated. We welcome you, however, to get creative and select another theme and make a basket for the bazaar. You might want to create one relating to an activity that you enjoy.

Guidelines:

1.   You must supply the basket or an appropriate container for your items.

2.   Feel free to add to items suggested.

3.   Please email, call or text Sharon Butler if you can help us – [email protected]. 410-310-7584.

Thank you so much!
