Handmade Creations Table

Handcrafted items this year include wooden Christmas trees, yarn gnomes, bowl warmers, ornate crab shell ornaments and manger ornaments. There will be lighted bottles, winter fleece throws, handmade bookmarks, a host of angels and wonderful wooden toys. The ever-popular quilted turkey head to add to a pineapple for your Thanksgiving table centerpiece will also be available. Shop for these and a host of Christmas ornaments.

The Emporium

Instead of the Boutique, we are introducing the “Emporium”, a collection of attractive, useful, desirable and “giftable” items that will make great additions to any home. We welcome donations of kitchen decor, appliances, and utensils; good quality decorative items for the home; items for children; Christmas ornaments and decorations. Good quality handmade items and crafts – quilts, crewel, Afghans, etc. are welcome donations as well.

Children’s Corner

Join us for Sunday School on Sundays, November 12th and November 19th at 9 am at the Old Wye Church.   Miss Bibi looks forward to welcoming you.

Psalm Study – ALL ARE INVITED!

The Psalm Study initiated by Charlotte will continue on most Monday mornings from 10:00 – 11:30 in the OW Library.  All parishioners are warmly invited to join any session – we will be using the Psalter from the Book of Common Prayer, so just grab a Prayer Book from your shelf or a pew rack at STL or OWC and drop in: no homework required of anyone (except the volunteer session facilitator).

Feed a Family this Thanksgiving

Celebrate Thanksgiving this year by helping others. Provide a box of non-perishable items (a box of mashed potato mix, cans of vegetables, sauerkraut and/or sweet potatoes, a jar of gravy, a package of rolls, etc.) and a frozen turkey so that a local family in need can also celebrate Thanksgiving or donate grocery store gift cards so that food may be purchased. Cards with instructions should be obtained from Suzanne Sheahan at 410-827-7627.
