Psalm Study – ALL ARE INVITED!

We are embarking on a new, exciting way to study the Psalms! Each Monday that we meet, we will be studying the Psalm designated for the upcoming Sunday service. For example, when we meet Monday, January 29 at 10 a.m. in Wye Parish library, for the study of Psalm 147, which is the psalm for Sunday, February 4th. By studying in this way, we will read the responses with increased understanding and love of Scripture. Doesn’t that sound like a wonderful way to look forward to the service? Come join us for this new “study ahead” adventure!

Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper

Save the Date!

On Tuesday, February 13th, you are invited to the Annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper at St. Luke’s Chapel Parish Hall. The menu is pancakes – plain and blueberry – sausages and cinnamon applesauce, along with Columbian coffee and juice. All you can eat! Invite your neighbors and friends to come.

More details to follow next week. All Welcome!

Last fall, the Vestry asked parishioners to complete a short questionnaire. Thank you very much to everyone who took the time to complete one. At the annual meeting on Sunday, the results of the survey were distributed to those attending. Please click below to see a copy of the questionnaire with percentages of responses.

Forward Day by Day

Copies of Forward Day by Day for February through April are available this week at St. Luke’s Chapel. Check the small table in the rear of the church for copies of Forward Day by Day. Please take one.

Scout Sunday Service at Old Wye

This Sunday, February 4th, at 2 pm, Boy Scout Troop 532 will hold a Scout Sunday service at Old Wye Church. All members of the congregation are welcome to attend the service!
