A Service for the Ending of a Pastoral Relationship
and Leave-taking from a Congregation
On the day of May 1, 1986, I began my tenure as Minister of Wye Parish. I was inducted by Bishop Elliott Sorge as rector on June 29th that same year. I have, with God’s help and to the best of my abilities, exercised this trust, accepting its privileges and responsibilities. This Sunday, May 1, 2022, I will complete 36 years of a long term pastorate. I am deeply grateful to you, the people and vestry of Wye Parish, for the ministry we have shared in Christ and for the wider privilege of serving the Episcopal Church and the Anglican Communion.
The Wye Parish Church family will always remain in my thoughts and prayers for the welfare of St. Luke’s Chapel and Old Wye Church. May the continued blessing of the Holy Spirit be upon our life and ministry.

Haven Ministries - Hope Through Shelter, Clothing & FoodHaven Ministries Emergency Food Pantries
I have just been notified that the last few clients at the shelter have been transitioned out to other permanent housing. On behalf of our guest and the staff I would like to thank everyone for their assistance throughout the winter months. Your meals were greatly appreciated. If we should accept any other guest into the shelter before the end of the month, I let everyone know.
