Word to the Wyes 1/13/22

“Do whatever he tells you.” Now standing there were six stone water-jars for the Jewish rites of purification, each holding twenty or thirty gallons. Jesus said to them, “Fill the jars with water.” And they filled them up to the brim.    John 2:5-7

Attention to all Homeless Shelter Volunteers
Haven Ministries Homeless Shelter is open again for the Fall, Winter and Spring session:
For now, due to the pandemic and safety concerns, our guests are being cared for by the Haven Ministries Staff.  However, dinners are still being provided by volunteers from the various member churches. Providing dinners is easier than in the past, as you only need to drop off the dinner (usu. meat and veggie casserole) at 5:30 at the Kent Island United Methodist Church.  The next dinner opportunity for our Parish is January 21st and has already been filled.  Please contact Mary Julie: [email protected]/410-310-3577, if you are interested in being a volunteer for this season or want more information before committing.
